MAKE-UP: Please arrive at the Beauty Salon without make-up on as the make-up artist will
work from a “blank canvas” All you need to do is moisturize in the morning and you
are all set! If you are doing your own make-up, come to our studio with everything done to evening level (normally darker than day time make-up)
HAIR: Wash & style your hair the way you like it. During the session we will tease
and position your hair to suit the various poses.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES: In the lead up to your session get a big bag or case
ready and start gathering bits and pieces to bring. Basically anything you would
like to be photographed in: casual, evenning, corporate & lingerie (if you have
booked a full glamour session including lingerie). Hats can be fun too and don’t
just limit yourself to your own wardrobe! Afterall – what are friends for! As a general
rule: “If in doubt, bring it along.” Remember jewelry too. Small and sentimental or
large and striking can really finish off an outfit! We have a great range of fabrics here
so don’t be too concerned if you don’t have a huge range of things to bring. You’d be
amazed at the fabulous evenning dresses that we can create using a piece
of crystal organza fabric and a few clothes pegs!
WEIGHT LOSS: Many of us have a few areas on our bodies that we are not entirely
happy with: calves, hips, belly etc……. The good news is that there is
no need to “crash diet” before your sitting to lose those few extra kilos!
Simply let us know which areas (if any) concern you and will trim them in the post
production work on the images. Weight loss for you – without the hunger pains!!
BURLESQUE/PIN-UP: If you are having a special burlesque/pin-up girl
photographic session you will know that its all about the clothing/lingerie:
corsetts, stockings, suspenders, high-heels etc…….. There are many sites on
the internet where you can browse for inspiration or purchases. Please note:
if you are buying outfits for the shoot, do so well in advance so you have time
for exchange or alteration should the need arise.
PAYMENT: During your pre-session consultation you will be advised as to if any
payment is required on the day. Payment for make-up is usually required on the
day of the shoot. If you have decided to have false eye-lashes applied or a lingerie
upgrade to a pre-booked package you will also need to make payment on the day.
All photographs must be paid in full before pick-up and lay-by is available.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE: This is probably the most important thing to remember to
bring on the day! You could arrive with merely a black bra/white bra with matching
knickers and a positive mindset and we will create some amazingly beautiful images
for you! After photographing women in the Fashion Glamour style for over 25 years we
really know what we are doing! (As you can see by the shots on this website.) All you
have to do is relax, enjoy being pampered and experience the “Hollywood Treatment”.
